                                                General                                                        

                                                All items of electrical works described under title "Description" unless specifically indicated otherwise, shall be deemed to be read in terms of supply, storing, protecting, making, assembling, installing, applying, laying, fixing, testing, commissioning, clearing etc. of the same inclusive of but not limited to all materials, labour, tools, plants equipments, appliances etc. as required for the completion and maintenance 'of the electrical work as per drawings, specifications, and/or as directed by the Engineer Incharge.                                                      

                                                                                                           

a.                                             All wiring to be done in PVC conduits  or otherwise specified/appropriate sizes, underground, concealed in walls, columns, ceiling and/or underground wherever required.                                                      

                                                                                                           

b.                                             All back boxes to be of 16 SWG sheet steel concealed in walls, columns or ceiling with provisions for connection of earth wires, wherever specified.                                                       

                                                                                                           

c.                                             Install insulated earth conductor of specified size for each lighting and power ccts.                                                 

                                                                                                           

d.                                             All fan/light points, switches outlets DB's etc. shall be earthed.                                                          

e.                                             All light fixtures shall be as approved by the Engineer..                                                 

f.                                              All material including PVC pipe ,cables, light fixtures and fittings,distribution boards etc should be manufactured/supplied by any one of the manufacturers as mentioned in Annex ''A'' and approved by the Engineer complete in all respects.
